Sac Dawn Patrol 15 Black Diamond

The Dawn Patrol 15 Black Diamond bag was designed for winter sports. Its "Avalung-Ready" design allows the use of the AvaLung Element system, used for safety against avalanches. The system can be easily installed or removed according to the seasons for use of the bag throughout the year.
The bag has a very functional carrying system that allows you to carry skis, a snowboard, poles or an ice axe.
The skis can be carried diagonally or using the side straps on each end of the bag. It also has a PickPocketsTM ice ax holder as well as a Hi-Lo helmet holder.
Access to the inside of the bag is easy, it is thus possible to retrieve belongings (camera, etc.) very simply during your activity.
The shoulder straps of the bag are very flexible which offers great comfort (freedom of movement).
The bag is compatible with hydration systems with shoulder straps and insulating sleeve.

The AvaLung Element is a safety system that significantly increases your air supply in the event of an avalanche burial.

• Allows a person buried in an avalanche to breathe fresh air directly from the snowpack
• Bivalve-inspired housing extracts air from the surrounding snowpack
• Mouthpiece delivers fresh air through bivalve housing and exhausts CO2 through exhalation conduit
• Completely removable without tools for 4 season use

Principle of operation of the AvaLung Element mounted on the Dawn Patrol bag:

A: The AvaLung mouthpiece provides fresh air extracted from the snowpack through the bivalve-inspired housing

B: exhaled CO2 is redirected away from the body through an integrated exhalation conduit

C: AvaLung mouthpiece and tube store in zippered pocket when not in use

D: simple and safe, the attachment system is easily installed and removed on AvaLung-Ready bags without special tools
