INTERFACE
The Edge 530 features a large, easily readable 2.6-inch screen for all mapping tools.
Twice the CPU calculation speed of previous meters ensures smooth operation of the device.

GPS POSITIONING
In addition to GPS and GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System, Russian geo-positioning system), the Edge 530 now benefits from even more precise positioning, including in difficult environments thanks to the addition of the European satellite Galileo .

PERFORMANCE ASSISTANCE DATA
The EDGE 530 provides information to increase your performance (VO2max...) and to help you recover during exercise (acclimatization to heat and altitude, hydration,...).

SAFETY FEATURES
The meter offers several security features. In the event of a fall, an emergency call can be sent to relatives automatically. The LiveTrack function allows real-time monitoring by your friends remotely and the GroupTrack function allows you to evolve in a group.
The Edge 530 incorporates a PIN-protected bike alarm. If the bike is moved, a notification is immediately sent to let the user know.
The Edge 530 is compatible with the Varia lighting system and bike radar.

CARTOGRAPHY
The Garmin Cycle Map installed gives you information on the popular routes most used by cyclists.
The MTB version includes Trailforks data which indicates the level of difficulty of the paths as well as the condition of the trails. Forksight mode automatically displays upcoming intersections and tells you where you are within the trail network
GPS provides voice guidance as well as turn-by-turn navigation alerts.

ADDITIONAL MEASURES FOR MTB
Edge 530 features new metrics like jump count, jump distance, and hang time. The device integrates other functionalities for mountain biking, such as the "Difficulty" function, which evaluates the level of difficulty of the course or the analysis of the fluidity of the descents.
The ClimbPro function displays the remaining distance of a climb and the level of slope to gauge the efforts that remain to be provided and to evaluate the intensity of the activity throughout the course.

COMPATIBLE WITH ELECTRIC BIKES (Shimano Steps system)
Coupled with a Shimano Steps system installed on an electric bike, the Edge 530 provides time, distance and speed metrics as well as the level of assistance, the gear engaged, the battery life.

AUTONOMY
The GPS has a significant autonomy of 20 hours in GPS mode. This autonomy can be doubled thanks to the additional Garmin Charge battery available as an option.

CUSTOMIZATION/CONNECTED METER
Add apps, widgets and data fields for free through the Garmin Connect IQ store.
