Lithium battery packs for Lenz heated equipment (soles, socks, gloves, heated jackets)

You will find below several useful information concerning the lithium battery packs of Lenz heated equipment (soles, socks, gloves, heated jackets).

3. What are the battery pack setting modes?

Heated socks:

• Lithium pack 700
The ON/OFF of the battery pack is done directly using a button on the batteries.

Heated socks, heated jacket and heated bandage:

• Lithium pack rcB 1200 and rcB 1800
These battery packs can be operated manually directly by pressing a button on the batteries.
The adjustment can also be made via the smartphone heat application. To return to manual mode, you must quit the application (or place it in the background). After 30 seconds, the LED on the battery pack stops flashing and manual mode is activated.
It is also possible to control the battery packs remotely using a remote control (available as an option).

Heated soles:

• Lithium pack insole rcB 1200
This battery pack can be operated manually directly by pressing a button on the batteries.
The adjustment can also be made via the smartphone heat application. To return to manual mode, you must quit the application (or place it in the background). After 30 seconds, the LED on the battery pack stops flashing and manual mode is activated.

• Lithium pack insole 1200
The ON/OFF setting and adjustment of the temperature levels of the battery pack is done directly using a button on the batteries.

Heated gloves:

• Heatglove battery pack
The ON/OFF setting and the adjustment of the temperature levels of the battery pack are done directly using a button on the top of the heated gloves.

4. What is the difference between a lithium pack 700 and a lithium pack rcB 1200 / rcB 1800?

Lithium pack 700:

• Autonomy of 3-4 hours depending on the external temperature
• Only one temperature level (Lvl 2)
• No adjustment of the temperature level possible
• Inability to control the batteries remotely
• No ON/OFF button, the start-up is done directly once the batteries are connected

Lithium pack rcB 1200 / rcB 1800:

• Significant autonomy (see table according to the different battery models)
• 3 temperature levels
• Presence of LEDs indicating the operating mode
• Control of the different temperature levels manually by button
• Remote control of the different temperature levels by smartphone or remote control (not included in the pack, to be purchased as an option)

5. Which battery packs are compatible with the smartphone heat application?

This is all of the packs mentioned rcB. These battery packs are equipped with Bluetooth smart technology.



6. Which smartphones are compatible with the heat application?

To use the Lenz heat application, the smartphone must integrate at least:
-Bluetooth 4.0
- Android version 4.3 and iOS 7.0

To test the compatibility of your smartphone, you can use the free test app "Lenz heatappdemo" available for download from Google Play Store or Apple Store.

7. What is the cost of the Lenz heat application?

The app is available for download from Google Play Store or Apple Store for $4.99.
You can use all Lenz heating equipment without the smartphone app.



8. What are the optimal storage conditions for battery packs when not in use?

Lenz recommends keeping the battery packs charged at half the maximum charge, for this:
1) Discharge the batteries while using them
2) Recharge the batteries for approximately 1-2 hours
3) Store batteries switched off and disconnected from the charger

It is recommended to renew this operation every 6 months in case of non-use.
For information, with the rcB 1200 and rcB 1800 lithium packs, it is possible to know the state of charge of the battery using the smartphone application.

9. What are the additional functions of the leds on the battery packs:

• Lithium pack rcB 1200 / rcB 1800:

The lithium pack rcB 1200 and rcB 1800 has an automatic shut-off function.
The battery pack switches off automatically (POWER-OFF) after 10 minutes if a temperature level (1,2 or 3) is chosen and if the heated socks are disconnected.
The middle led flashes in standby mode or if the heated socks are disconnected.

• Lithium pack insole rcB 1200:

The lithium pack insole rcB 1200 also has an automatic shutdown function.
Sleep mode is activated if the heated insoles are disconnected for 24 hours.
If the battery pack is switched on (level 1,2 or 3) and the soles are disconnected, the system switches to POWER OFF mode after 10 minutes.
