It is much finer than sheep's wool, heats perfectly well, is breathable, hyper-elastic, light, dries quickly and also has an antibacterial action, which has positive effects on odours.
Although merino wool is less irritating than regular sheep's wool, it is still a natural product and can scratch and cause chafing. To overcome this, Lenz Softtec Merino gear has a special inner layer of high-tech yarns for irritation-free comfort and long life.
