The One Piece Suit 400 Woolpower is an integral underwear made of merino wool with a density of 400 g/m² which gives it a very good quality of thermal insulation to "face" the extreme cold.
This garment from the Ullfrotté range is woven in Sweden in the city of Östersund. Since its creation in 1972, Woolpower has not stopped releasing models of warm clothes from unique weaving techniques.
This garment is made from a Woolpower proprietary material called Ullfrotté Original. This is made of a mixture of 2/3 fine merino wool and 1/3 synthetic fibers. It features a unique knit structure with highly airy wool loops, insulating heat and wicking sweat away from the skin.
The Ullfrotté Original material benefits from all the properties of merino wool (warmth, breathable, anti-odour) and synthetic material which guarantees significant solidity to the garment.
To ensure quality, each item of clothing is sewn by a single seamstress who checks the product herself and affixes a label with her name.
This garment can be cleaned at 60°C if necessary.
With very good thermal insulation (400 g/m²), the One Piece Suit 400 Woolpower is ideal to be worn as an intermediate layer for all activities practiced in very cold weather when the temperature is negative (outdoor sports, outdoor recreation, construction work). 'outside...).
Tips for Choosing Woolpower Underwear:
• First coats: 200 gsm
Les sous-vêtements avec une fibre de densité 200 g/m² sont les vêtements les plus fins. Ils sont conçus pour être portés directement sur la peau, ce qui permet une bonne évacuation de l’humidité.
By being used close to the body, their thermal effect combines perfectly with the function of eliminating perspiration.
Ces sous-vêtements fins sont idéals pour des températures allant de +10 °C à -20 °C, en accord avec l’activité pratiquée.
The merino wool/polyamide knit has a smooth surface on the outside, and a terry cloth on the inside.
Composition: 60% merino wool, 25% polyester, 13% polyamide, 2% elastane
• Middle layers: 400-600 g/m²
Underwear with a fiber density of 400-600 g/m² is thicker and is worn as an intermediate layer.
They improve the thermal insulation between the base layer and the outer, water-repellent and windproof protective layer. Intermediate garments are generally used when the cold is more severe, and during more static activities.

Excellent one-piece undersuit. Should be more widely available.
This is one of the best one-piece undersuits I've ever had. None of the Woolpower sellers in the UK supply this undersuit, but I knew it existed and I had a very long search to find anyone who stocked it. I think MGAffaires is the only online supplier at the moment.
It's perfect for so many things - I can wear it inside a sailing or diving drysuit, or as an inner liner for my windproof fleece one-piece suit, and it's great for wearing at home. It has enough room if I need to wear a thermal undersuit inside it. The high neck collar is brilliant - I can tuck the long neck of my balaclavas deep into the suit, zip the collar up, and it keeps everything in place. The Woolpower suit sleeves combine well with my thermal gloves and the legs fit nicely into long socks, resulting in a seamless inner layer.
This undersuit seems to be Woolpower's best-kept secret, and I just wish it was more widely available. There's a lot to like about it and, for autumn and winter, it's the natural choice for me - I can practically live inside it!
