Bag Bug Petzl

The BUG backpack is designed specifically for big day rock routes. Its rounded rectangular shape provides maximum volume for minimum bulk. It is suitable for carrying the equipment during the approach walk and the necessary equipment during the climb (water bag, race food, clothing, shoes). Everything has been thought out to allow the climber to feel comfortable in the lengths with BUG on the back: minimal bulk, shape of the straps allowing freedom of movement at the shoulders, comfortable back in breathable materials, retractable belt, high carrying space releasing access to the back of the harness (chalk bag, gear loop), side compression straps.

• Carry high on the back:

- clears the back of the harness (access to gear loops and chalk bag,

- allows the rope to be carried under the bag (carrying straps),

- belt to distribute the load while walking, it is stored in the lower back for freedom of movement while climbing.

• Side compression straps:

- compression of the unused volume and wedging of the content,

- carrying clothes on the outside.

• Rectangular shape with rounded corners:

- good volume/encumbrance ratio which allows freedom of movement while climbing,

- limits wear by friction.

• Wide ergonomic shoulder straps:

- carrying comfort,

- good hold on the back without a belt,

- freedom of movement of the shoulders,

- outfit completed by a chest strap with variable height.

• Strong attachment strap and single opening at the top of the bag: reliable attachment point, avoids losing objects.

• Accessory holder: external “daisy chain”, side straps and rope holder straps allowing you to carry, with support, everything that does not fit inside the bag.

• Clever storage: back pocket for guidebook, clip for e+LITE (emergency headlamp), interior zipped mesh pocket with key ring, loop for guidebook/sketch sheet on the shoulder strap, passage for hydration system for good organization material in the bag.
