The Fuel is the reference mixed ice axe, slightly curved, it is versatile and can be used on ice or on rock.

• Ice ax with standard head and hammer (Fuel Hammer): optional
• Sturdy, rigid and lightweight handle, hydroformed from a single piece of aluminum that extends to the handle
• 2-piece modular head with interchangeable blade and single screw (compatible with all Black Diamond blades)
• Extremely wear-resistant Fusion blade
• Adjustable bi-density pommel allowing an adjustment according to the different sizes of hands and gloves
• Offset handle for ice and mixed climbing without strap
• Removable carabiner spike, possibility of attaching a Leash Black Diamond lanyard for example
