The Petzl Summit is a classic, versatile and slightly curved mountaineering ice axe.

Lightweight, it has a hot-forged stainless steel blade and claw.
Offering a very good quality of anchoring, the spike allows use as an ice axe-cane.

• Lower part of the straight handle for effective penetration in the snow.
• Lightweight ice ax that retains weight at the head for good anchoring power

- fine toothed blade of 3 mm at the tip, ensuring good anchoring quality in hard snow and ice
- thicker blade in the center to improve grip in soft snow
- teeth in the upper part of the blade reinforcing the hold of the ice ax when using the ice axe-ramp
- robust stainless steel tip for very good penetration in hard snow when used as an ice axe-cane
