The Attache Petzl carabiner used with the removable BAR bar prevents it from rotating!

With the removable BAR bar, it becomes a unidirectional carabiner, favoring the loading of the carabiner in the long axis, for maximum comfort when belaying or roping up on a glacier.

The BAR cannot be closed if the ring is not fully locked, which limits the risk of handling error.
The carabiner ring cannot unlock unexpectedly when the BAR is in the closed position.

Equipped with an H-shaped profile which offers an optimal strength/lightness ratio, the pear shape of the Attache carabiner and its round section promotes the sliding of the rope when belaying with a half-capstan and with a Verso or Reverso.
