More info

The Running Dynamics Pod allows you to run without a heart rate monitor belt, very light, it attaches to the belt.
Battery life is one year for one hour of use per day (turns on and off automatically).
The 6 metrics measured:
• Cadence is the number of steps per minute. It shows the total number of steps taken (left and right feet combined).
• Balance at ground contact time displays the left/right balance when you touch the ground with your foot while running. It is displayed as a percentage. For example, 53.2 with an arrow pointing left or right.
• Stride length is the length of your stride from one step to the next. It is expressed in meters.
• Vertical oscillation is the bounce when you run. It shows the vertical movement of your torso, expressed in centimeters for each step. The higher it is, the more you run up instead of running forward. So there is a loss of energy.
• Vertical ratio is the ratio of your vertical oscillation to your stride length. It is displayed as a percentage. If this ratio is low, it usually indicates that your running technique is good.
• Ground contact time is the time spent with your foot on the ground with each step when you run. It is expressed in milliseconds. The higher this is, the less dynamic your stride is.

Interessant
