In the insulated inflatable version, the Comfort Plus Insulated Sea To Summit is the most comfortable mattress on the market in terms of its compactness.
It benefits from a very high resolution construction in double independent rooms.
The two valves allow you to inflate and adjust the pressure of each of the chambers (lower and upper) to be able to maximize the level of comfort.

The Comfort Plus Insulated Sea To Summit mattress is constructed from two layers of independent high resolution cells.
This model-specific feature maximizes comfort depending on the terrain and in all situations.
You can inflate the top layer as you wish for more comfort while maintaining a high pressure level of the
bottom layer to protect you from uneven terrain.
Big advantage, independent air chambers make it possible to inflate the mattress even if one of the two layers is pierced. In an emergency, when you don't have anything to repair, this will save you from sleeping on the floor!
Technologies used:
• Hybrid single/dual layer construction
This construction allows for maximum comfort in certain areas without increasing the weight of the mattress.
The more cells, the more comfortable the area:
- more spaced air sprung cells on the head and legs
- more air sprung cells in the torso
The cells deform independently of each other so that the mattress follows the shape of the body.
• TPU fabric
TPU lamination comes from manufacturing processes used in the medical and aeronautical industries. The material is durable and has an antimicrobial treatment to prevent the growth of mold and fungus.
• Multifunction valve
The Sea To Summit valve makes it easy to inflate and deflate the mattress. A non-return valve makes it easy to inflate the mattress, without loss of pressure. The flap, with a simple press, offers the possibility of precisely adjusting the hardness of the mattress (deflation step by step).
By removing the cap, deflation is very fast.

Measurement of the R-Value thermal resistance of Sea To Summit mattresses:
The R-Value is used to measure the thermal efficiency of a mattress.
It corresponds to its ability to retain body heat in order to prevent it from spreading to the ground. Until now, manufacturers of sleeping equipment defined their own test methods to evaluate this resistance. The results were therefore difficult to interpret.
The new ASTM F3340-18 standard provides a methodology for measuring the thermal resistance of a mattress. Thus, it is now possible to compare the thermal performance of different models.
ASTM is an independent, international standards body.
