Its double Thermolite insulation makes it exceptionally warm (R-Value of 6.2).

Technologies used:
• Construction "Air Sprung Cells"
This construction makes it possible to obtain a very comfortable and light mattress.
The mesh dividers and voluminous air pockets that make up the mattress allow both sides of the mattress to be spread more apart while using less fabric. 
• TPU fabric
TPU lamination comes from manufacturing processes used in the medical and aeronautical industries. The material is durable and has an antimicrobial treatment to prevent the growth of mold and fungus.
• Multifunction valve
The Sea To Summit valve makes it easy to inflate and deflate the mattress. A non-return valve makes it easy to inflate the mattress, without loss of pressure. The flap, with a simple press, offers the possibility of precisely adjusting the hardness of the mattress (deflation step by step).
By removing the cap, deflation is very fast.
• Pillow Lock System
The hook-and-loop PillowLock fastener secures the pillow so it stays in place all night...
Measurement of the R-Value thermal resistance of Sea To Summit mattresses:
The R-Value is used to measure the thermal efficiency of a mattress.
It corresponds to its ability to retain body heat in order to prevent it from spreading to the ground. Until now, manufacturers of sleeping equipment defined their own test methods to evaluate this resistance. The results were therefore difficult to interpret.
The new ASTM F3340-18 standard provides a methodology for measuring the thermal resistance of a mattress. Thus, it is now possible to compare the thermal performance of different models.
ASTM is an independent, international standards body.

Test hivernal au top dans les cabanes du Vercors
Taille 183 ok à l’usage pour ma taille 185, avec un gain de poids et volume par rapport au 198. Testé en hiver dans les cabanes du vercors, ce matelas m’a offert des nuits très confortables (et il n’est pas trop bruyant quand on bouge)! Satisfait de la qualité après une mauvaise expérience longévité chez Therm-a-Rest
