Garmin Edge 820 Europe GPS computer + cardio belt + sensors

The Edge 820 is a bike computer with innovative features and a high-resolution touchscreen that adapts ambient light using a sensor so the screen is always readable.
Along with compatibility with ANT+ accessories, Edge 820 gives you turn-by-turn navigation using the preloaded Garmin Cycle Map. On the road or on trails (MTB), the software shows you the roads that can be cycled.
It provides indications such as altitude or routes (round trip) and this by proposing routes adapted to bicycles!

FUNCTIONING
Navigation is done with the help of the high-performance touch screen even with wet fingers.

Garmin innovates by offering the GroupTrack function, by connecting to Garmin Connect, it is possible to follow the cyclists who make up your group in real time.

All performance-related functions are built into the meter:
- VO2 Max calculation
- recovery assistance functions,
- real-time Strava Live Segments
- calculation of the functional power threshold (FTP) if it is coupled with a power sensor (Vector for example)
- analysis of your pedaling (Cycling Dynamics)

Edge 820 is compatible with Varia Vision™ and Varia™ accessories that provide incident detection (smart lights and rear radar).

GPS POSITIONING
The Edge 820 benefits from extremely precise positioning, even in difficult environments thanks to dual satellite support for GPS and GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System, Russian geo-positioning system).

SCREEN
Equipped with a high-resolution color touch screen (200×265 pixels), the meter is very readable whatever the light.

CONNECTED METER
The Edge 820 can connect with ANT+ sensors: bike radar, Varia lights, heart rate sensors, speed sensors...
When working with a power meter, it offers a set of additional features, such as Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and Watts/Kg measurement.

COMPATIBLE SENSORS (ANT+)
The Edge 820 is compatible with Garmin equipment, heart rate monitor belt, cadence sensor and speed sensor.

WIRELESS CONNECTIVITIES
You can send and retrieve your routes as well as download all your data to analyze them on your computer (Garmin Connect).
The Edge 820 features LiveTrack real-time tracking (using the Garmin Connect Mobile app) and Smart Notifications (displaying emails, text messages and other alerts you receive when you pair it with a compatible phone).

AUTONOMY
The GPS uses a rechargeable battery and provides up to 15 hours of battery life in GPS training mode and up to 24 hours in UltraTrac mode.
