The performance of the ascender handles has been further improved for greater comfort, efficiency and ease of use. The ergonomic handle is made of bi-material overmolded rubber for more grip and better grip. The surface of the grip is wider on the bottom to reduce the discomfort at the level of the little finger during the ascent. The ergonomics at the level of the index finger have been reinforced for greater efficiency during each pull on the handle. The angled pin trigger ensures operation in bad conditions: wet, frozen or muddy rope, etc. while reducing the effort required to slide the device up the rope. The geometry of the handle, made of aluminum in one piece, optimizes the axis of traction for comfortable ascents, whatever their duration.
• The molded handle offers even more comfort with a more ergonomic shape. This shape prevents the hand from slipping down with each pull on the ASCENSION. The bi-material overmolded rubber handle increases comfort and grip in wet or icy conditions.
• The chrome steel pin trigger and the dirt evacuation slot optimize operation on the rope, whether it is muddy or icy.
• The ergonomic opening latch allows it to be installed and uninstalled with one hand.
• The one-piece construction of the handle eliminates weak points while lightening and strengthening the device for years of use.
• The two attachment points allow several types of use: self-belaying, haul systems, etc.
• Color codes on the anodized bodies to facilitate identification (black for the left handle, gray for the right handle).
• The safety cleat prevents the trigger from opening too far and keeps the rope in place for greater safety.
• The 1 centimeter diameter secondary hole accepts a threaded link for attaching stirrups, rings, etc.
