Insurer Neox Petzl
Type of preferred practices: lead, indoor and cliff climbing
The Neox Petzl is a cam-assisted locking belayer for the room and cliff.
Ideal for lead climbing, it also allows belaying with a toprope.
It has an integrated wheel providing extremely fluid sliding of the rope to quickly give the climber some slack.
We appreciate its ergonomic handle to comfortably control the descent.
•Belaying comfort, thanks to cam-assisted locking
• Simple installation of the rope, thanks to the markings engraved on the belay
• Gestures common to all Petzl belay devices (based on accompanying the rope in the device and permanently maintaining one hand on the rope on the braking side)
• Cam-assisted locking offering great tolerance of the position of the hand on the braking side, whatever the angle between the climber's rope and that on the braking side
• Very good descent control
• Eco-responsible manufacturing (plastic elements made from recycled polyamide)
Compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm
Colors available: Light gray / Orange / Black

Spécificités:
• Optimisé pour l’escalade en tête:
The integrated wheel allows smooth sliding of the rope to provide slack even more easily and quickly to the climber.
• Comfort of belaying, thanks to cam-assisted locking:
When the climber falls or rests, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, then the cam pivots and pinches the rope to block it.
• Contrôle de la descente:
- Comfortable grip and easy to release the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle.
- Handle reduction by 3 for better control of rope movement on small diameters and less effort on the handle for large rope diameters
