The PIRANA descender offers multiple braking positions, and can be installed on the rope without unhooking it from the harness. Designed for canyoning techniques.
• Three different braking positions to choose from before descending.
• Two additional brake lugs to increase braking during descent.
• With a 12 mm section carabiner (ATTACHE type), passage through the small hole is forced, thus creating a “rigid” carabiner/descender assembly.
• Remains connected to the harness when putting on the rope to limit the risk of loss.
• Reduces the risk of leverage on the carabiner gate in the event of poor positioning.
• The PIRANA prevents the formation of lark's heads and limits twisting of the ropes, without reducing braking.
