The Freino Z is a self-locking carabiner with braking spur that has been designed for use with Petzl Stop and Simple descenders.
It allows you to add braking or modulate it during the descent.

• Ergot allowing to add braking to the descent
• Simple and flexible use. The rope can be quickly passed in or out of the brake spur, with one hand
• Facilitates the realization of locking key
• Twist-Lock automatic locking system for quick opening
• Keylock system to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner
• Can be turned over to make the descender captive when transferring from the gear loop to the half-round carabiner
