The HRM-Tri monitor is suitable for running. Thanks to the accelerometer, it measures "Running Dynamics" data (cadence, vertical oscillation, ground contact time).
The HRM-Swim monitor is used in water, it does not slip and is resistant to exposure to chemical agents used in swimming pools.

The HRM-Tri belt has an accelerometer that measures the movements of the bust in order to calculate the following running data:
• Cadence (number of steps taken per minute)
• Vertical oscillation: the vertical movement of your torso and the "bounce" while running (in cm for each step)
• Ground contact time: the time spent on the ground with each step when running (in milliseconds)
